Well, in my world of artistic design, I make what feels right and comes together -what ever season that it may be. So you will find that I tend to post summer style jewelry in fall and winter and vice-versa. Weird, maybe. But it's how I roll.

Pearl Honey Jade Gemstone Beaded Bracelet (B128)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day with their dads! My husband and I actually spent father's day with my dad the weekend prior and then his dad this past Saturday. Worked out perfect and other than the pouring rain this past Saturday night, both days with our dads was great.

I took some time Saturday morning to take some pictures of finished jewelry and was able to get one beaded bracelet posted. I'm a perfectionist and taking pictures of jewelry has always been the one thing that is never perfect for me. Although I'm kinda likin' the black background -it just doesn't work with all of the jewelry. Sometimes you just gotta have a white background to showcase how beautiful the beads are!

So I take the picture of the bracelet below and I'm likin' it. Then I posted it and realize the picture for the complimentary pair of earrings, to this bracelet, isn't as nice as I once thought! When I took that picture I thought it was so great, now that the bracelet is pictured (and I'm even more knowledgeable on my camera) the earrings don't look as nice. Gotta fix that....

Custom Beaded Watch -Summertime Seashells!

A customer had purchased our lovely Moss Agate Pearl Elegance Beaded Watch (W09) and loved it so much she returned with a custom watch request.

She asked for a beaded watch featuring a Czech clam shell white pearlized bead that was used in a previous bracelet design of ours. To change it up for summer and add a bit of glam to the design I create a template design using a blue satin Swarovski crystal. But while looking at my beads I saw I had some Aventurine gemstone heishi beads in stock and thought that might look nice too. So I create a template using both colors and she loved both so much and couldn't decide, that her custom bead watch request turned into two.

The finished pieces reflected the Czech clam shell bead, one design with the satin crystals and the second design in the aventurine gemstones but in a 2-strand design. Both were absolutely stunning and the perfect accessory for summer!
