New Transplant Awareness Jewelry & A New Look

Okay, okay, I have been MIA. Well, not really. I just happened to take a week vacation (and actually didn't do much work for Crystal Allure!) and then came back from vacation and have been working on a new look for the website (yes, again). Sadly, just before vacation I had discovered my "exclusive" web template was apparently not so exclusive. Mad -heck yeah! Still mad -yup. I've wasted a lot of money in the last year or two trying to develop a unique brand and to then find out that the money I spent (with the same designer) was a waste, just well, pissed me off.

So, rather than continue to give this business more business with their link at the bottom of my site, I decided (while on vacation) I'd have to do the work myself. I just couldn't see putting my faith into another designer only for a template that wasn't unique or was promoted as unique but in the end wouldn't be. I'm running a business for goodness sake -it has to have a brand. And continually changing the look because this designer say's I can't do this or that with their template purchase or worse, seeing your exclusive template on another site, that just doesn't cut it. I've wasted too much time and money now on other designers. It was time to just do it and do it myself -then it's done right and it's my OWN unique brand (which by the way, when I have to do this...it takes time away from designing beaded jewelry!). *sigh*

BUT, slowly it's coming together. I've mainly been working on the website -check it out at CrystalAllure.com -and leave a comment and tell me what you think. I still have to change over the blog template...but trust me...it'll be done in the next few days. I am so done with web designers!

On a better note. I did get some time carved out to create a new unique one-of-a-kind Transplant Awareness Bracelet. I just love the tree agate gemstones in this design -they are so organic. The perfect complement to healthy new lungs!
